Feedback: Ministry Trip to Central Church (Waterloo, ON)
Debs, Vanessa and I recently (May 2014) traveled to Central Church in Waterloo, Ontario. CITC has been partnering with Central Church for at least 6 years and we’ve sent teams to support and encourage them on numerous occasions over that time. It’s been a delight and privilege to build friendships and see the church grow and mature over the years. I ministered at there Sunday meeting but the main highlight of the weekend was Debs and Vanessa being asked to lead a women’s
retreat. Here is some feedback from their weekend of ministry…
The testimony that I brought back after ministering in Canada was being a part of what God was doing in another setting with ladies outside my immediate circle. It was wonderful to be able to bring what we felt God give us and in outworking it to the ladies, watch how God touched them and ministered to them. It was clear that God had an agenda from the beginning to refresh and remind us all as woman, of His love, His faithfulness and His enabling to do all He has called us
into. Vanessa and I had prepared separately and yet both had the same message which was super encouraging! It was a powerful time and I felt God gave us opportunity to partner alongside Him as He ministered. It was a blessing for me personally too to do Kingdom with my friend and see how God uses relationship and partnership for His Glory!
Our time in Canada with the women from Central church was so great and God did so much in the short time we were there ministering at their women’s retreat. It was my first time visiting central church in Waterloo and I really saw the fruit of the time our leaders have
invested there. Steve and debs, and others from our body have been faithfully going, giving and investing, slowly building relationship and getting to the know the body for about 7 years. For me, it was awesome to see the fruit of that and to be privileged to speak and minister in such an intimate way because of the friendship and trust that has been built. It really is a sacrifice to be going and sending our own but also an incredible blessing to the churches we partner with and to our body to be used to bless other churches this way. God spoke so clearly during the time and I was so honored to go.
