NEIGHBORHOODS & NATIONS PRAYER

We had outstanding times of prayer throughout the city of Chicago on Saturday. As a part of our 11th birthday celebration, we set aside time to meet in groups for prayer in various regions of our city. Five prayer gatherings happened representing the NORTH, WEST, SOUTH, CENTRAL & NATIONS.

There was a great sense of God expanding our hearts as we walked, looked, prayed and shared prophetically what God is speaking to us. It was a faith-stirring morning of ‘standing in the gap’ for our city and praying into the specific situations of different regions. We will be sharing some further feedback and stories in the coming weeks at our Sunday celebrations and here on our blog — stay tuned for more!

BRAAIBQ PARTY

Oh. My. This was a blast! Some of our South-African-born members cooked up a real treat — boerewors, pap en sous, sosaties (Say what?) and more — and boy did we feast! Thanks to everyone who chipped in to make it such an awesome evening.

In addition to the deliciousness, we also had face-painting, a bounce-house, dodgeball, gum-boot dancing and a jousting tournament!
